Class Descriptions

Vin & Yin

VIN and YIN style class where you get a mixture of half flow and half slow. We will be starting the class with a Vinyasa style flow to get the heart rate up. Then, end the class with a long yin style stretching to really dig into the connective tissue to gain even more flexibility. Getting a good yoga mix can get you recharged to tackle the rest of your week

Slow Flow

Slow doesn't always mean easy. Focusing on breathing out the stress, anxieties and tension and poses to strengthen, stretch and connect the body to the mind. Slow movements will increase endurance, stamina and muscle strength to contribute to your overall practice.

Chair Yoga

In the same way that the body moves through flows of motion and increased flexibility during cycles of traditional yoga, chair yoga implements this practice as well - almost any traditional yoga pose or move can be replicated & altered to accommodate chair yoga. Along with increased ranges of motion through holding poses on a chair, breathing techniques (known as pranayamas) are often practiced within chair yoga

Yogalates

Find your balance between strength and serenity. This 60-minute class blends the mindfulness and flexibility of yoga with the core-stabilizing precision of Pilates. We start the class with a gentle yoga flow to warm up the body, move into Pilates-based abdominal work and end with deep stretches and relaxation. Perfect for all levels looking for a total body low impact workout

Power Yoga

The key word is power. Combining our breath work with our movements to create a perfect recipe for inner heat. This sequence will create high, intense energy in the body. Typically a yoga class is a slower flow but in power yoga we will focus on quick movements working through our form and pushing our bodies to the next level.

Vinyasa Flow

Ready to creatively move with the breath? This energizing Vinyasa flow will offer challenges to experienced yogis and softer options for those who want to take it easy. Every class is different. Suitable for all levels

Buti Yoga

Buti Yoga is a powerful blend of tribal inspired cardio and primal movements, plyometrics, core strength and intuitive movement. Instead of just listening to the music, you become the music in this full-body workout that combines cardio, conditioning, and strength training with yoga and pilates-inspired movement. Buti provides the perfect atmosphere for letting loose, getting energized and tuning into your own self.

Tai Chi

Tai Chi is an ancient Chinese internal martial art that practices the fundamentals of health and self-preservation.  Yang style focuses on slower, more meditative movements requiring concentration and deliberate action.  Over the course of this class we will learn the traditional Yang Style 108 Movement Long Form, which is a series of movements performed carefully and methodically.

Core & Pelvic Floor

This class is ideal for anyone looking to improve their posture, support their lower back, or regain a sense of internal stability. It offers a grounded, supportive environment for people at any stage of their fitness or wellness journey

Pilates Power

Crank up your core using a variety of props for an intense full body workout based on the original Pilates method. We will challenge our strength using barres, weights, magic circles, balls and resistance bands with fun music setting the pace. Lots of options for beginners through advanced participants

Rebound Downtown

Rebounding is a type of low-impact aerobic exercise that is performed while jumping on a mini-trampoline. This dynamo class is FULL of benefits: from lymphatic drainage to full body strengthening. Rebounding can help work the muscles in the legs, increase your endurance, and strengthen your bones, among a number of other benefits. Rebounding helps improve insulin sensitivity, heart health, and body composition while decreasing blood pressure and blood fat.

Yoga Tone

This class blends dynamic yoga postures with hand weights! With the toning aspects of static yoga postures and the calorie burning & muscle building of accessory weight movements. You’ll recognize all of the postures from our standard yoga classes, but be introduced to the proper method of weight movements.
